Microlighting

Microlighting, Coined 'flight of angels' because of Dr. David Livingstone's famous quote 'scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight', the aerial ride is a fine way to get an 'angel's view' of the magnificent Victoria Falls in all its thunderous glory. There are also extended flights 'Microlights' covering the Victoria Falls, the rugged gorges of Batoka Gorge, the great Zambezi River shimmering like an oversized silver snake and the charming Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

Cameras mounted on the wing of the craft in order to provide you with the amazing opportunity to capture picture perfect panoramic photos that you can purchase after you land, to keep as a memento of your whirlwind adventurous trip exploring the beautiful landscapes of Zambia.

The microlights can be booked for either 15 or 30 minute trips and are by far the most personalised way to view the waterfall from the air as there is only one qualified pilot and one client on board per aircraft. All flights leave from Maramba Aerodrome in Livingstone and are at the Victoria Falls within about a minute.
