Copperbelt Museum
The Copperbelt Museum was established in 1962 in Ndola. Ethnographical artifacts, geological and historical
items are exhibited in the museum. The Copperbelt museum intends to add exhibits on Science and Technological heritage.
There are various texts that highlight the history of the museum and the Copperbelt. Additionally, information is provided on
Zambia’s mineral deposits and origins of all towns in the Copperbelt; one such town is Mufulira which came from the word 'fulila'
which means "blacksmithing".
